Terms and Conditions

Apartmentsbarcelona.city obtains users’ information of the users who make bookings and those who register on the website to obtain information, as well as of the accommodation owners. This personal data is stored within a file held by apartmentsbarcelona.city. The user is expected to provide true, exact, complete and current information. We request personal information on our accommodation booking form and owner’ registration form, as well as on the users’ sign-up form. A user must provide contact information (such as name, email address, passport number and address) and in some cases financial information (such as credit card number, expiry date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fulfill the user’s requests. If we have problems processing a booking, we use the information to contact the user. Both users who book through apartmentsbarcelona.city website and users who register on the website give their express consent to receive such email communications.

The information we collect is used for booking purposes, to notify you of your reservation status and to ask for feedback about your stay and is not shared with any third party which is not directly involved in the booking process. 

Confirmation of bookings: In order to confirm the booking, we require a deposit payment of 30% of the total booking cost. Booking confirmations are automatically generated on screen when the user accepts the reservation and are also sent by email subsequent to the booking being made. There is a possibility that this confirmation could arrive in the ‘spam’ folder in the user’s email client, and therefore the user should, in the instance of not receiving this email, check all of their email folders. We recommend that you print or save this confirmation in a PDF format when you finalize your booking.

Check in and Check out: Since there is no permanent reception in the apartment building, we need to know the approximate time of your arrival in order to be expecting you. If you arrive by plane, it would be very helpful if you sent us your flight number and whether you intend to take a taxi, bus or train from the airport (so we can calculate your approximate arrival time).

Our regular working hours: Check in: 16h – 00h; Check out: at any time before 12h (noon)

Early Check-in: If you arrive earlier than 16h: starting from 12h (not before) you can leave your suitcases with us. If your apartment is empty and prepared, we’ll be glad to check you in, but this is not always possible.

Late Check-in: (after 00h) is possible ONLY until 2am and there is a surcharge: 00h-01h: 30€, 01h-02h: 50€ (to be paid on arrival).

Deposit Policy: 30% of the total amount will be charged at the time of booking. 70% plus city tax will be charged on the day of arrival.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 15 days before date of arrival, the 30% deposit payment will be refunded. If cancelled or modified later, 30% deposit payment will not be refunded.

Apartment Good Tenant Policy: You are expected to protect the apartment and all its contents against loss or damage for the duration of your stay. An inspection will be performed upon entrance and upon departure to ensure that everything is left as it was found. We reserve the right of admission.

Cleanliness Policy: Our rentals are cleaned and prepared by housekeeping staff before your arrival. Daily housekeeping is not included in the price, but can be hired as extra paid service.

Noise policy: Although you are a temporary tenant, as in any apartment building, please be respectful of your neighbors, especially in the corridors.

Guest Policy: You should consider your accommodation as your home away from home and invite guests as you would at home. However; keep in mind you are responsible for any damage caused by your guests. We ask that you restrict the number of guests to the comfortable capacity of the apartment.
